Exchange does NOT work properly

Do not go ahead with it if you use Exchange, it didn’t work. It works for 5 min than stops and sometimes it didn’t work at all. It was a trully disapointing and big lost of time trying and trying. I’ve went to the Airmail support then I realize other users have faced the same problem as me. Very frustrating, I’ve felt fooled. The good news is that I was able to update Outlook 2011 and it get back in action with El Capitan.

Email client

The worst email client I ever used. I want my 10 bucks back!!!

It’s not opitimazed for VoiceOver

A good e-mail client, but need a better support for VoiceOver (I need the VoiceOver to use my MacBook Pro and it’s hard to use this software with it). I really hope that you guys make a better support for VoiceOver user on the next updates… But as an e-mail client this is a wonderful software!

Great, but...

I had the AirMail 1 and it fit to me, besides the older version had a lot to improve… When they launched the Airmail 2 they charged for the upgrade. I think this isn’t fair cause the app is the same, imagine every app charge for upgrades?! For me this behavior is unaceptble.

slows down the mac, otherwise good

It is a good email client - however, slows down my macbook considerably. I gave it a try a couple of weeks now, and think I will change back to my old email client. Design wise, excellent! Hope to see an update soon!

misssing some important features

tl;dr: nice UI, missing selective sync and bad crypto support Fist of all the UI/UX is really good. All the Snooze, Reminder and Todo features are really good. Integration with Calendars is also really cool. But then there is some important stuff missing like: I can’t selectivly sync folders on IMAP. I don’t nedd GBs of archived mailes offline available. Yes I can set a date limite for the age of the messages but that is not the same. And then there is mail crypto there is no build in support. There are two plugins available for SMIME and GPG. You can manually install them but they seem totally unmaintained. There haven’t been updates for years and they have bugs. If you use GPG and SMIME together they will go crazy. They do not honnor settings and flip the Sign/Encrypt buttons on random bases. No matter what you have selected. You add a new recipiant and it flips them again. Super annoying. It somethime also failes to encrypt mails with no reasonable error message. And even worst it will then retry an send the mail as plaintext.

Great App.

Great App, well designed and a fantastci support from Brenna! Very recommended

DOCH keine gute Alternative zu MAIL !!

Im switching back to APPLE MAIL. I really appreciated the more comfortable UI of the this Mail Client and spend some time to set it up and used it in parallel for some weeks now. BUT a Mail client which suddenly loose contact to some of my accounts and requires a reconstruction of its database, which ends up in loosing my data IS NOT RELIABLE AT ALL !!

Fantastic!

I have no clue why I didnt discover this fantastic application earlier. I was always torn between Apple Mail (very basic, but acceptable UI) and Mailmate (very powerful, but horrible GUI). Airmail is like the perfect symbiosis of both! (Though the feature scope of Airmail is a bit different from Mailmate.) — In addition to that you get an incredibly well working synchronization between Airmail for Mac and Airmail for iOS, including all account settings(!). — The best conversation (thread) view of any mail client. — Very good support (Brenna

Super Email App

The app (on MAC) is doing everything right, very fast, robust and intuitive. Even better than the other most known like Thunderbird, etc. Good money invested!!!

S/MIME not working

If I try to send a message with my public certificate, my messages at first fail, and then is being sent without the latter.

violates privacy and looses messages

This application is among the worst I have ever trusted my e-mail with. • In oder to retrieve icons, this app contacts every single domain that you receive a message from, effectively acting as a proof of reception to the sender – and any adversary. • Without warning or notification, passwords are stored in iCloud IN PLAIN.TEXT • Seemingly “successful" account configuration results in invalid settings • Message sending failures are not indicated to the user – think about urgent mails. I can only strongly discourage anyone from using this application, or its mobile counterpart, which I have tested as well.

Exactly what I was looking for

Was searching for an appropriate Mac email client for a while - finally found it in Airmail 2.5! Clean, easy to use - exactly what I needed. :)

Super Happy!! Just promise you won’t shut down LOL

I used to use sparrow mail thought it was the best mac mail client and they got bought out and shut down. Started using Mailbox (from dropbox) and they just recently shut down. I liked features from sparrow and features from Mailbox. Airmail has the best of both worlds from easy swiping actions to clear messages to rules and plugins etc. SO PLEASE DON’T SHUTDOWN ON ME K THX BYE

Stable

I moved to Airmail a few years ago due to instability in Apple Mail. I continue to be impressed with the user interface, features and stability of this app. My only criticism is the fact that when a message is selected to be read from the list of emails, the highlighting of the selected item in the list is so faint that it is sometimes difficult to tell which message had been selected. Otherwise, a great app.

Struggling to like this app

Missing SMART FILTERS. Hard to organize mail. Looks like its something that they said they would have in the future, awhile ago. FLAGS on phone not synching on Airmail Mac app. If you go to All mail, you have to scroll down to find it, uncheck and reflag. No option for Mac Mail Classic View. I have to keep resizing the screen on my notebook. Hard to organize work and personal email. Search sometimes hit and miss. Too late for refund. Will check this app again in 6 months.

Amazing

This is the app I’ve been waiting for! I am a power-Exchange Server user. Outlook for Mac is slow and crashes when my mailbox gets too big. Mac Mail is clunky and doesn’t handle attachments well (even with 3rd part plugins). Thank you!

Excellent! Loving it...

Have just moved five email accounts over to start. Some gmail, some imap. Works great. Effective and efficient. Visually pleasing as well.

Working very well!

I’ve only been using the software for a short time to replace Apple Mail. I’m afaid Apple Mail falls short in several areas as well has become a pain to use—buggy and not reliable. Used Postbox for while, works great and my messages are sending and receiving well with Postbox—the graphics really are lousy. Airmail 2.5—my son was having all sorts of problems with his email with Apple Mail, since I was already using Postbox I thought I would buy him Airmail 2.5— all his email wows went away. Easy use, graphics very nice, options great. He loves the software! So I thought I’d give it a try so I bought myself a copy and wow loving it so far. Early in my reviews but at this point easy to get running for several email accounts, organize and use. It has alot to offer and I’m only just getting the hang of it. The team at Airmail 2.5—well done looking forward to the iPhone/iPad version!!!

Best Mail App for MacOS + Fast support

I am using AIrmail for one year now with multiple GMail accounts and am super happy working with it. I had an issue with the latest version and contacted support, got an extremely fast reply from Brenna who helped me fix the issue in no time. Can only recommend the App and hope they will continue doing the great job they are doing right now.
