Great product and GREAT support
I’m transitioning to Airmail as a previous longtime (decade+) user of Mac Mail. Admittedly it’s been a challenge but mostly thats because my habits have been tuned to Mac Mail. But I could no longer abide a lack of product development and too many bugs and quirks in the Apple product, and went on a search.
I have found Airmail to be a great solution. I’m still coming up to speed with all of the features, which brings me to their support. I’ve seen some comments about lackluster support in these reviews, but I have to say I have found it to work great. Most of my questions have been “how do I do this?” or “what does this mean?” and their chat support (most recently Steven - fast to respond, helped me figure out what I did in my Gmail settings to change what shows up in Airmail) is efficient, fast to respond and conversational so I can get my answer quickly and back to work.
The few areas where I am looking for a feature or a workflow and not only do they explain what can/can’t be done, but they forward the request to the dev team and I’ve already seen them addressed in subsequent releases.
In contrast - the bar is admittedly set LOW with Apple support but trying to get “power user” help with Mac Mail (ie rebuilding your mail database from the Library file or duplicate management upon import, etc…) is all but impossible. All this team does is their email app, and thus the range of help from basic tags/labels up to more powerful stuff is all there.
All in all, I’m still in a learning curve of breaking 10+ years of Mac Mail habits but I am really liking the flexibility and speed of Airmail - along with their flexibility and speed of their support!
