Tiny font problem

I am frustrated with Airmail. I purchased the app based on the reviews but it falls short on something as basic as the font size. When I reply or create an email, I can barely see the text because the font is really small. I have just purchased a fancy email reader that I cannot use for any correspondence. I searched the web for workarounds but came up empty handed. It appears that many users have been requested larger fonts but Airmail has not delivered the funtionality. It has the galls to ask users to vote on the idea. This should be a standard feature for something as basic as a font setting. It is the year 2016 and the fact that I am even writing a review on the font size problem is ridiculous. I am aware that I can enlarge the font size to 16 or more. I just want font size 12 to be readable. It is a deal-breaker.
