Can’t file messages across servers

If you have business and personal mail accounts, you may find that mail is frequently sent to the wrong account and must be filed in the correct one to preserve confidentiality etc. This is not easy to do in the current version— the file dialog can only move mail to a folder on the same server as the inbox. If you are in this position you may want to wait until filing across wervers is implemented

A little bit unexpected but very pleasant surprise after the previous version!

These guys listen to the customers and learn from mistakes. Very good job. A little bit unexpected but very pleasant surprise after the previous version!

Not optimized for Retina and my delete button doesn’t work!!

What kind of modern email client does not allow for messages to be delted by hitting the ‘delete’ key??? I’m scratching my head…. Also, this version does not seem to be optimized for retina macs!!

Installation failed

“IMAP Test Failed. The settings are not valid. Unable to authenticate with current session.” This was with an iCloud account and a MB Pro. Guess that did not go well and I have lost my $$$. Since this is #1 on the sales list I guess I am the oddball but I would not trust it now. Back to Apple Mail.

Trusty workhorse

Has it been a whole year that I’ve been using Airmail now? Wow. I’ve spent way too much money on productivity apps, but this one makes it all worth it. I’ve tried them all. The fact that I’ve stayed with this for so long should tell you something. I think it’s mature, reliable, feature-full, and now much sleeker animations with V3. Only one slight complaint, it feels a little slow sometimes. But I forgive you. For power users: has an INSANE level of customization options.

Finally surpasses Sparrow!

Airmail 3 can be made to look extremely similar to Sparrow (including a “theme” called Pro that looks just like Sparrow) while adding some handy creature comforts like swipe right to archive and left to toggle read/unread status. Over all the design seems clea although I kinda miss Sparrow’s nice spinning arrow when you pull down to refresh the inbox - it visually emphasized that it was actually doing something. Price-wise, I was hesitant since it cost over $10, but so far I’ve been happy with the purpase and haven’t had any problems..

Newbie review

After watching Don McAllisters screencast of Airmail I decided to give it a go first on OS X. I really like the ease of adding email accounts and the amount of personalizing that is available is better than any other email client I’ve tried. Just getting started but the support was Apple class all the way. Steven from Airmail was back to me in no time on several queries and resolved everything.

The best

thank you for a great experience. work perfect on my mac and iOS!

Overloaded with Email Accounts

Well this is how it all went down--->>> I installed 30+ email Accounts and the app froze I reinstalled it no work, so what do I do, so I ask for help and I’m not going to lie here it did take quite some time to figure out a solution but he figured it out, enter code in terminal on the mac, rm -r ~/Library/Containers/it.bloop.airmail2, delete app , empty trash, log out of app store and log back in, reinstall app, and vwolla it was reset and new again. Thank you Steven

Great Email program

This is by far the best email program that I’ve come across for working in IOS and El Capitan. I’m sure there are little issues for some people, but for me this has now become my email program after a trial of over six different programs. The ability to organize my emails is so easy and quick. I love it.

Doesnt work with local Exchange server

Have tried everything including spending a good fifteen minutes with our companys sysadmin to get this to work. Tried to talk to the developper about it. 1 - Online chat was rude 2 - When sending a transcript of the chat to the developper, I had no answer. 3 - Trying to communicate with the developper to no avail. Heres a transcript of the chat : ************ Hi, Im at a loss... I bought Airmail for work. Have installed it on all my devices. But with the Mac at work, it wont connect to the Exchange server. I keep getting an "Authentication needed" message. 10m ago paul-1461582424.jpg Hello! Does your account is EWS supportedd? Please follow these steps Open the endpoint in safari. You will be prompted to enter login and enter credentials. If you can login there, you can login in Airmail too. This is due to the fact that we only support Exchange that are EWS enabled. The endpoint URL can be asked by you from the service provider of your email service. 7m ago I dont know if its "endpoint" enabled. The web address to access the server ends in /owa/. However if I check the OS X Mail settings under the Advanced tab, it shows an news/exchange.asmx address. 4m ago. Seen. paul-1461582424.jpg Please ask your service provider about it, thanks. 4m ago Sorry ?... Is that all ? I was sysadmin for over 150 Macs a few years back. I have spent 15 minutes with the actual sysadmin of our network and couldnt get it to work. 2m ago. Not seen yet. I have made a copy of this conversation. And will be demanding a refund for the licences I bought. Thanks. *******************

Still better than Spark

I switched from Spark, which was a great email client but hadn’t yet come out with an OS X version yet. I use snoozing a lot, and was finding it a bit of a pain to switch to the mobile client to do it all the time. I used Airmail a while back and drifted away from it, but after reading a few reviews, I decided to take the plunge again - and haven’t looked back. Not yet, anyway. Lots of great features (including snoozing, of course) and the interface is solid across all platforms. When I did have issues, the in-app chat support has been great, as well as ticket-based through the site. (Thanks, Mark!) Is there a perfect email client out there? No, of course not. But so far, Airmail has come close enough for me.

teriffic support

I must say that I liked the Airmail2 for Mac enough to have used it as my main email client. However i needed help to work out how to install the Airmail3. Steven in Customer Support gave me that help in a consistent, clear and patient way. I am delighted with the format integration of the Airmail for IOS with the new version for Mac. I am confident that as I learn the new ropes that my rating will match my appreciation for the Customer Support

Poor performance

MacBook Air, 10.11.5, iPhone 6, 9.3.2 Despite being advertized as “a new mail client… with fast performance” I found it anything but. It could take up to a minute to return search results and often had to be manually synced to get new mail. Total waste of money in my opinion. Unforutnately I got the iOS version as well which had even worse performance if that’s possible.

Great email client! Also, read the FAQ!

I love this email client and it appears that most of the complaints on here are from people who haven’t read the FAQ: Slow sending with version 3? Turn off the delay. Dislike the animations? Turn of the advanced graphics. Want the delete key to delete the email? Change the shortcut in actions (alternatively, just press option + delete). Problem sending emails with an imap email account? Turn off delay (this was my problem - Steven helped me on airmail support chat!)

Great on Mac.

This App works great on the Mac - no issues that are worth noting or complaining about. I switched all my personal email to this and now I have an Apple Watch and it will not load the App! The iPhone version however is not working great in a couple places: Send with Airmail Error: iPhone 5S on 9.3.1 fully updated version - "send with" Airmail menu outside the App will result in errors in sending. Meaning that you have to go in the app to attach whatever. (in this specifc example it was a photo). But I have tried sending attachments from other apps like PDF Expert with Airmail and it also errors out. Help! I have the latest version of them all.

Great Mail App

Works smoothly, fast and keeps all my emails and multiple accounts in check. And great tech supuport (Thanks Sarah!).

Create calendar appointments from email!

I have only been using a short time and find it much more functional. I can create calenadar appointments from email now. With the Apple calendar, it puts the email subject as the appointment title and the email content in the appointment notes. Awesome. Good value for the price of the software. Given all the options that are possible I had a problem with my sent folder having two copies of the sent email. Mark got back to me in minutes and gave me a fix. Fast service and a simple fix. Can’t wait to see what the future will bring.

Not sending mail

I wanted to find a mail app that connected to multiple gmail accounts, respected gmail labels and also keyboard shortcuts. I’ve been using gmail in the browser, but was really hankering after a unified inbox. Airmail 2 delievrs on all of the above. Fast, no connection issues, nice to look at. All this at a very reasonable price. So far I am very happy. Update with version 3: Mail frequently gets stuck in the outbox and doesn’t send. I am changing mail clients because of this.

Not worth it.

If youre wondering if you should purchase this product or not. Dont. Its really not that great at all. Seems buggy and poorly coded. Uses more than 10x the memory footprint of the apple mail app. (60mb vs 800mb) Unable to stop images from being downloaded in the email content (leaves you open to tracking and cyber attacks) The "visuals" are nice. And the ability to schedule an email is cool. But other than that. Pretty elementary. Seems more catered to be a 3 star free app.
